Dina Jashari is a singer-songwriter and producer from Macedonia, a trail-blazing artist slowly but surely winning the hearts of Balkan audiences. Dina pours her entire being and experiences out into her songwriting, effortlessly flowing through pop and neo-soul. Dreamy harmonies, emotional lyrics, modern and fresh beats are the elements that stand out in her music. In 2022, Dina’s artistry was awarded with ’’Milan Mladenovic’’ award, gaining praise from renowned music minds from the region.
So far, Dina Jashari has released 5 singles, an EP ’’Doma’’ and a collaboration with an acclaimed world music artist and composer Duke Bojadziev titled ’’UbavDen’’. Dina creates from a space of authentic playfulness, sourcing her writing and performance skills from jazz studies she is pursuing at the Faculty of Music in Skopje, Macedonia. Dragi Ivanov, a Berklee College of Music graduate, contributes to Dina’s sonic canvases as her co-producer. They are currently working on new material – aiming at liaising with artists from neighbouring countries.
In 2021 and 2022, Dina graced the stages of lots of festivals in Macedonia: Zemjotres(MKC), Today it’s all about jazz, Cinedays (CinEmusic), PIN music conference 2021, D Festival and so on. Dina Jashari performs with her full band (Dina Jashari – singer, Luka Toshev – guitar, Simeon Angelovski – bass, Dragan Teodosiev – drums, Stefan Aleksovski – piano, Rebeka Vlaisavljevic – backing vocalist) and also as an electronic duo with her guitar player Luka Toshev. In 2022 Dina toured the Balkans, playing her music in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia and in Budapest as well.
