Great Events is a movement of active citizens that aim to put the public spotlight on important social and environmental issues. We provide funding and visibility through cultural events to NGOs that are selected by the general public, through open voting on our website.
We started Great Events because we noticed that many organizations that offer social work, have shortages in material, human and communication resources. Their work depends directly on their viability and in a time of crisis, there is great difficulty in securing the much-needed resources.
Up until now, we have created sold out concerts, festivals, music albums and at the moment we are hosting the first ever in Greece “Concert in the Dark”.
Great Events contribute to society by creating original and meaningful ways that connect citizens and artists that are willing to help, to NGOs / organizations that need visibility by creating a bridge and a cultural passage for participation and contribution.
