Radio Beograd 1 The public media institution Radio-Television of Serbia has the task to inform, educate and entertain, but it also represents an institution that has a special role in the social, cultural and political life of Serbia.
With its television and radio programmes, internet edition, teletext, extensive network of correspondents, music production (folk, entertainment, jazz, symphony orchestra and choirs and children’s choir Kolibri), production of sound carriers (PGP), exhibition and publishing activities, research documentation centre, RTS has grown into a significant institution of Serbian culture.
RTS is a member of the European Broadcasting Union, which brings together 74 TV and radio stations from 56 European countries.
