From Krakow, Poland to the virtual public, Tak Brzmi Miasto conference: The Future, coming online on November 14-15, aims to offer artists and music professionals insights and practical tools to help them navigate the new post-Covid 19 landscape.
It won’t be a look through rose-colored glasses, yet the organizers will focus on possibilities and the bright side of the future. The music industry needs a meeting and a conversation, specific tools and discussion over the direction in which it wants to be headed. The future is not that distant, Tak Brzmi Miasto conference: The Future starts soon. On the 14th and 15th of November, specialists will lead the virtual events and workshop. Ticket sales are already on, and the number of participants is limited.
Changes in the music industry have been so fast in the last couple of years, it’s hard to keep track. The Year 2020 accelerated them incredibly or stopped completely. Most of us rack our brains trying to figure out what’s next. What could the future look like? How to survive? Or, maybe more ambitious – how to develop oneself? Independent musicians, concert promoters and managers with many years of experience are all hitting the same wall. That’s why this year’s conference Tak Brzmi Miasto: The Future focuses on new tools for the artists, best managerial practice and positive examples from our industry.
New reality – does it also mean the new music industry? Can new mean better? How will the great players deal with it – labels, producers and associations? How will an independent artist find their way in this world? Does the audience need a next free online concert? What are they willing to pay for? In the end… the artist is human too.
The program will tackle topics such as challenges and prospects of digitalisation, opportunities for earning online or tools that can be useful for that; talking about changes which should be followed, and artists who, while as unaware as everyone else, were prepared for the crisis.
The conference is about the future of an artist and a manager. Tak Brzmi Miasto is about the future of music.
The conference is accompanied by Winter Camp – a direct form of support and learning, enriched with individual consultations and workshop. Winter Camp will take place between November 11 and 13. The participants will also take part in the more widely available Tak Brzmi Miasto: The Future conference.
