Rannar has been at the captain’s wheel of the Estonian startup flagship known as LIFT99 since 2021, helping the Estonian startup ecosystem reach new heights through community building and introducing Estonia to countless foreign governments through outreach projects. He’s also been behind the scenes, organizing the biggest celebration of founders, the Estonian Startup Awards, since 2021.
Besides community-building, Rannar’s background is in education, event organization and heading non-profit cultural organizations, having been the editor-in-chief, program director, and board member for a youth radio initiative that has grown from a 5-person operation to a team of around 40 ambitious young people with a seasonal radio programme. His strengths lie in finding unconventional ways in which people complement each other and in building strong communities, united by strong core values.
