Dozens of Romanian and international music business professionals will be speakers of this year’s edition of Mastering the Music Business (MMB) – the biggest event of the music industry in Romania. The seventh edition of MMB takes place in Bucharest from the 6th until the 8th of September 2022.
Dedicated to all music enthusiasts, MMB is the place where both artists and music business professionals are offered the opportunity to meet with leading experts in the industry, learn from them and interact with them directly. About 100 speakers from Romania and 14 other countries will debate the most interesting and up to date topics in today’s music industry.
Among the speakers of this year will be:
- Georges Perot (GR) – the Co-Founder and Curator of the Athens Music Week, a founding member of the EURICCA initiative and the European Live Music Association and the Project Coordinator of HEMI.
- Login Kochishki (MK), manager of Dubioza Kolektiv, the famous band from Bosnia and Herzegovina and also the founder of Taksirat, the biggest festival in Macedonia.
- Dénes Pécsi-Szabó (HU)- the co founder of Budapest Showcase Hub (BUSH) and board member of International Music Managers Forum (IMMF) Hungary.
- Robert Meijerink (NL) –head of program and booker, Eurosonic Noorderslag the European conference & showcase platform in Groningen, the Netherlands
Among the most awaited workshops and panels of the conference are those dedicated to showcase festivals in Europe and to financing programs for music, presented by the Creative Europe Desk in Romania.
During the 3 days of MMB Showcase Festival, music lovers will enjoy the live music of 18 bands coming from 14 European countries. In this year’s line up, 3 finalists of HEMI Music Awards will perform on the stage of Expirat in Bucharest: AIKO from the Czech Republic, KOIKOI from Serbia and ZIMBRU from Romania.
